<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of color filter with which a filter pattern can be directly transferred on a transparent substrate and the transferred filter pattern is excellent in preservable property, solvent resistance and scratch resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of color filter comprises: a step of preparing a thermal transfer recording medium for manufacturing color filter, which has a thermal transfer ink layer including an epoxy resin, a carboxyl group-containing polymer of weight average molecular weight 3,000 to 30,000 and a colorant on a base material, and a transparent substrate; a step of superimposing the thermal transfer ink layer of the thermal transfer recording medium for manufacturing color filter on the transparent substrate while allowing both to contact with each other; and a step of applying a thermal energy from the side of the thermal transfer recording medium for manufacturing color filter and transferring the filter pattern onto the transparent substrate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
