<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection control device and a connection control method for a clutch allowing the practical use of an existing device, suppressing overshoot at the automatic start and quickly performing shift operation other than the case of automatic start. <P>SOLUTION: The connection control device has a detector (a clutch stroke sensor 22) for detecting a clutch connection position, and a control device (a transmission control unit 11) for controlling shift operation of a mechanical transmission. The control device 11 is constituted to rapidly connect the clutch up to a target position (A-point) near a half-clutch position in automatically starting without operating the clutch (a clutch pedal 2P), to maintain the position only for a predetermined time upon arriving at the target position, and to control to connect the clutch at a comparatively low speed up to the half-clutch position (B-point) after the lapse of a predetermined time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
