<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the method and the system for making the engine generator set operate. <P>SOLUTION: This engine generator set (10) includes a generator (18) for supplying electrical energy to a first load (12) rated by a first voltage and a first frequency, and for supplying electrical energy to a second load rated by a second voltage and a second frequency; a prime mover connected to the generator through shafts (34,36) to rotate the shaft at a first rotational speed, when the generator is the first frequency, and to rotate the shaft at a second rotational speed, when the generator is the second frequency; and an engine generator set control system. The engine generator set control system includes a generator control system, constituted so as to control the output of the generator, an engine control system for controlling the rotational speed of the shaft, and an output selector so as to change the output of the engine generator set from the first voltage and from the first frequency to at least one of the second voltage and the second frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
