PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmission efficiency by changing a transmitting/receiving data size in a time slot in a network apparatus in which a master station and a plurality of slave stations are connected through communication lines. SOLUTION: In the master station, a command data size calculation part 3 calculates command data and a command data setting part 2 sets a command data size in the command data. In each slave station, a response data size calculation part 10 calculates a response data size from a data size allowed to be transmitted/received in the time slot and the command data size and a response data setting part 11 constitutes response data in accordance with the response data size calculated by the response data setting part 11.
