PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary and convenient suction nozzle allowing a user to store the suction nozzle as the extension of cleaning without touching the suction nozzle when the suction nozzle is replaced with an extension pipe, etc. SOLUTION: The suction nozzle has a brush holder 22 on which a brush 21 is planted, and the brush holder 22 is pivotally supported at the distal end of the lower part of a pipe member 19 in such a way as rotatable to the pipe member 19. The brush holder 22 is structured to be rotatable to a position at a given angleαby a hook spring 24. The brush holder 22 is rotated to the position at the given angleαto the pipe member 19 by engagement parts A26 formed on both sides on the inner surface of the brush holder 22 to abut to engaged parts A25 formed on both sides of the outer shell of the pipe member 19. With this structure, the user can use or store the suction nozzle in such a way that the operation of the suction nozzle interlocks with attaching/detaching motion of the extension pipe without touching the suction nozzle, so that the suction nozzle to be sanitarily and conveniently used can be provided.
