<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high S/N ratio organic photoelectric conversion sensor capable of reducing a leakage current that increases with the passage of time and of enduring long term use, which is useable for an information reading device for taking out as electric signals various pieces of information such as shapes of objects and images in scanners and copying machines and which ensures an information reading device capable of also enduring long term use. <P>SOLUTION: The organic photoelectric conversion sensor is an organic photoelectric conversion sensor 1 which comprises at least two electrodes 4, 6 formed on a substrate 2; and an organic photoelectric conversion layer 5 formed between the electrodes 4, 6.
