PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, in order to constitute a piezoelectric oscillator having a prescribed aging characteristic, one transistor is necessary for each of one amplifier circuit and one rectifying circuit other than an oscillation circuit including a crystal vibrator and an oscillation amplifying transistor, in addition to this, a circuit constitution that uses a rectifying diode is necessary, and thus a circuit of the oscillator is complicated, thereby causing hindrance in the reduction of size and cost. SOLUTION: An oscillation circuit 1 is a pierced oscillation circuit comprised of a crystal vibrator X1, an oscillation loop formed of capacitors C1, C2 and C3 and an oscillation transistor Q1, and an osicillation circuit output is amplified by a base grounded amplifier circuit 2 constructed of a transistor Q2 having an emitter of potential in common with an emitter of the oscillation transistor Q1. A collector signal of the transistor Q2 is fed back to the connection midpoint of a serial circuit comprised of the capacitor C1 and the crystal vibrator X1 in the oscillation circuit 1, thereby suppressing and controlling an excitation level of the crystal vibrator X1.
