PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel toner image transfer device which alleviates or eliminates the transfer limit of toner transfer in an electrostatic transfer system by using a transfer roller having a conductive elastic body on the surface, an ultrasonic vibrator transducer and a transfer belt guide and makes stable transfer possible for broad kinds of paper sheets and an image forming apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: In order to achieve the purposes described above, the transfer belt is held in-between the transfer roll having the conductive elastic layer on the surface and the ultrasonic vibrator transducer and a transfer voltage and ultrasonic vibrations are loaded. In addition, vibration preventive members for guiding the transfer belt are arranged before and behind the transfer roll and thereby, the toner image transfer device assuring highly stable transfer characteristics for a wide spectrum of paper sheet kinds from cardboard to thin paper, flat and smooth paper up to rough face paper and to provide the image forming apparatus using the same device.
