<p>Provided are a display device wherein a plurality of wiring patterns and electrode terminal sections are formed on a transparent substrate, by which a wiring position of the desired wiring pattern can be easily specified for display inspection, and conformity of clamping connection in a clamping area can be judged; and a method for inspecting the display device wherein the wiring position of the desired wiring pattern can be easily specified for display inspection. In the display device, the wiring patterns connected to a plurality of display elements (31) are formed on the transparent substrate (2), and the display elements (31) and an external circuit (23) are electrically connected by clamping. The wiring pattern is provided with a plurality of electrode terminal sections (5) arranged on the transparent substrate at a specified pitch, and a wiring electrode (241) connected to the electrode terminal section (5) and the external circuit is connected by clamping through an isotropic conducting film (7) in the clamping connection area, and at least one electrode terminal section (5) among the electrode terminal sections (5) in a clamping area (600) has a unique shape or length to be a reference mark for specifying the wiring position of the wiring pattern.</p> |
