<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that is properly managed by a management apparatus on the occurrence of an earthquake, so as to prevent the leakage of internal information and the occurrence of an unanticipated situation. <P>SOLUTION: Since the image forming apparatus includes: a vibration detection means for detecting vibration; a control means for controlling the apparatus at detection of abnormal vibration; and a removable external storage means for storing internal information stored inside the apparatus, the image forming apparatus can save the internal information to the removable external storage means at the detection of the abnormal vibration, so as to surely store the internal information so that the internal information can be restored to the original image forming apparatus and an image forming apparatus at another place can capture the internal information. Further, external leakage of the internal information can be prevented by deleting the internal information inside the apparatus after the internal information is saved and by protecting the internal information by an authentication means or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
