PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera system capable of charging a secondary battery provided in a camera subjected to a housing using a waterproof protector without detaching the housing using the waterproof protector. SOLUTION: The camera system includes; the camera 1 having the secondary battery; the waterproof protector 2 storing the camera 1; a power receiving coil disposed in the waterproof protector 2; and a power-receiving-side control circuit 6. The secondary battery is charged from the outside of the waterproof protector 2 without having any contact points, by being supplied with electric energy, via the power-receiving-side control circuit 6, by the power receiving coil 4 supplied with electric energy.
