PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air intake valve for a futon compressing bag which compresses a futon by degassing the bag containing a futon, and prevents an air leak for a long period. SOLUTION: The air intake valve is composed of a valve body 19 fixed to an upper sheet 3, a valve lid 20 covering the valve body 19, and a valve 10 set on the valve body 19. Holes 27, 28, through which air is sucked in, are formed on an upper board 26 of the valve lid 20, and a recession 21 is formed in the center of the valve body 19. The bottom 22 of the recession 21 is provided with support pieces 23 having between them windows allowing air flows through, and with an air ventilation hole 11 having a sloped inner peripheral surface 14 with a smaller inner diameter at the lower side. The valve 10 is made of a flexible material, and has an almost disc-shaped collar 16 and a fitting projection 13 formed in the center of the valve 10, which projection 13 having a smoothly curved outer peripheral surface. The collar 13 of the valve 10 is placed on the support piece 23, and the fitting projection 13 is fitted into the air ventilation hole 11. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
