<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a passenger of his scheduled getting-off or changing trains certainly in a position immediately before the point of getting off or changing trains without requiring a complicated management of ID numbers or position judgement using satellite electric waves. <P>SOLUTION: A passenger guide system is configured so that base stations 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b through 9a, 9b arranged to include the route of the line a certain distance advanced from stations 1-9 as a signal transmissible region are installed in the neighborhood of the points where the passenger is to get on or off, in which the base stations transmit departure signals at departing from the stations 1-9 to the cell-phone 200 carried by the passenger and also transmit the arrival signals when the train has arrived at the stations 1-9 in such a way as including in the electric waves. The cell-phone 200 carried by the passenger acquires in advance the route information 300 to the destination station of the passenger by a route information acquiring part 215 and stores the information in its RAM 213. Then the departure signals and arrival signals included in the electric waves transmitted from the base stations are received, followed by a comparison of the number of receiving times of arrival signals with the number of times of arrival signals set previously in the route information 300 to serve judging arrival at the destination station, the passenger to be notified of the result of judgement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
