PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reliability of a sealing part of a display panel. SOLUTION: On a manufacturing method of the display panel, a sealing member 9 is interposed between a main face 13X of a cathode panel 12 and a second face 4 of the anode panel 2, the sealing member 9 is melted by raising temperature, and a cavity 10 is evacuated in viscous state, and since the second face 4 of the anode panel 2 does not float up by the influence of distortion of the anode panel 2, a stress in a direction of peeling off the sealing part is not remained after the sealing member 9 is solidified.
