PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of a sealing performance by installing a seal member protective part at a retaining member. SOLUTION: In a water-proof connector, a shield electric wire 10 is drawn out from the rear face side of a housing. To the housing, a seal member 25 into which the shield electric wire 10 is inserted and which is provided with an electric wire adhering hole 35 adherable to its outer peripheral face is attached. In the housing, the retaining member 26 which can retain the seal member 25 in an anti-fall-off state, and which is provided with an electric wire insertion hole 40 into which the shield electric wire 10 is inserted is built in. At a peripheral edge part of the electric wire insertion hole 40 out of the retaining member 26, the seal member protective part 44 which is protruded backward and which is opposed to the shield electric wire 10 is installed.
