An ice amount sensing device is provided to connect a cam shaft to a testing lever through a plurality of gears, to increase a rotation angle of the testing lever, and determine positions of the inspection lever according to the number of lever gears for precise inspection of an ice amount regardless of the size of an ice tray or an ice sensing range. An ice amount sensing device includes a cam rotating by a motor, and a rotation lever(62) formed with a protrusion contacting the cam and a tooth part at a side, wherein the rotation lever rotates with respect to a lever shaft. An elastic element is mounted to the rotation lever, and applies elasticity to the rotation lever for the contact between the protrusion and the cam. An amplification gear(70) is engaged with the tooth part of the rotation lever to operate in association with the rotation lever. A lever gear part(80) is formed of a plurality of gears to be engaged with the amplification gear. A testing lever(90) is connected one of the gears in the lever gear part and operates in association with the rotation of the lever gear part to sense an amount of ice stored in an ice tray.
