<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera conducting a photographing by finely displacing an operating timing from other cameras. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera has a timing arithmetic circuit 54. The timing arithmetic circuit 54 receives a reset request through a communication interface 44 from another digital camera. The timing arithmetic circuit 54 stands by after the reception of the reset request only for a standby period indicated to the reset request, and outputs a reset command to a reset circuit 52.
