PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video microscope advantageous to observe a subject under an optimum condition. SOLUTION: An illumination part 20 in the video microscope 100 is provided with a substrate 2202, a reflection case 30 and a lens case 32. A plurality of light sources 22 are constituted of a plurality of light emitting diodes attached to the substrate 2202. Respective light sources 22 are stored one by one in respective reflection rooms 24 of the reflection case 30 through apertures 2414 and constituted so that illumination light emitted from the light sources 22 is reflected to a lower mounting board 10. A diffusion plate 26 is arranged on the upper part of the lens case 32 and a Fresnel lens 28 is arranged on the lower part of the lens case 32. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
