PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direction-changing section structure of a rail for a movable wall, which is highly rigid and lightweight while having a compact outer shape, and which can be easily manufactured. SOLUTION: A direction-changing member 1 for connecting four rail members 20 together in a mutual orthogonal manner is provided. A main body 11 of the member 1 is formed in a cross-shape in a plan view by employing a butt-welded structure of a channel-like member 2 made of a bent sheet metal and having a downward opened slit part. An inner end of the channel-like member 2 has an oblique side part 3 which is formed at an angle of 45°in a plan view. Additionally, the four channel-like members 2 are butt-welded so that the oblique side parts 3 can be aligned with one another. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
