PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift knob attaching structure easy to assemble and maintain, and capable of suppressing an increase in the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: In this shift knob attaching structure, a tip end 13a of a shift lever 13 is inserted into a shift lever insertion hole 14a of a shift knob body 14 so as to attach the shift knob body 14 to the shift lever 13. A locking groove 15 is formed on an outer circumference of the shift lever 13, and there is provided a pin member 17 of a substantialΩ-shape provided at the position opposing the locking groove 15 on the shift knob body 14, and elastically deformed in the radial direction of the shift lever 13 having inwardly projecting, locking curved portions 17a, 17b provided opposite thereto. The locking curved portions 17a, 17b of the pin member 17 are embedded and locked within the locking groove 15 in the state where the shift knob body 14 is attached at the tip end 13a of the shift lever 13, and the pin member is attachable/detachable to/from the shift knob body 14.
