Utilization of galanthamine for the treatment of pathologies of the central nervous system owing to intoxications with psychotropic substances

Disclosed is the use of galanthamine, as free base or as acid addition salt, for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of cognitive disorders occurring as sequelae to occasional or chronic use or abuse of hallucinogenic substances, or in cases of acute poisoning, or in cases of chronic exposure to poisons in humans.
