Oxadiazoles as modulators of metabotropic glutamate receptor-5

Oxadiazoles compounds of formula (I), wherein P, Q, X1, X2, X3, X4, R, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, R6, R7, m, n, o, p and q are defined as in the specification, a process for their preparation and new intermediates prepared therein and pharmaceutical formulations containing these compounds are disclosed. These compounds of formula (I) are suitable as modulators of metabotropic glutamate receptor-5 (mGluR5) and are used for treating mGluR5 receptor mediated disorders such as neurological disorders, psychiatric disorders and chronic and acute pain disorders.
