An oily solution for injection to a subject that comprises a long-acting ester of progestogen, such as etonogestrel undecanoate and an ester with a fatty chain length of C6 to C12 of 7-alpha-methyl-19-nortestosterone dissolved in ethyl undecanoate. Also disclosed is a needle-less device or a mini-needle device suitable for administration via injections to the subject that comprises less than 1 millilitre of the aforesaid solution.
