<p>A hood type air conditioner is provided to increase the heat exchanging efficiency of a condenser by introducing heat-exchanged cold air into the condenser. A hood type air conditioner includes a case(1), a hood section, and a cooling section. The hood section is provided in the interior of the case and discharges the food odor and heat sucked through a hood suction opening(5) and through a discharge opening and a duct by driving a fan. The cooling section is divided by a heat shielding plate(2) and includes a scroll housing including an evaporator(9) and a blowing fan(10), a condenser(3), and a compressor. A bypass is formed to introduce air from the scroll housing to the inner side of the hood suction opening. The bypass may be a hole formed on one side of the scroll housing and on one side of a lower portion of the heat shielding plate. The bypass may be a pipe connecting one side of the scroll housing and one side of a lower portion of the heat shielding plate.</p> |
