The paper or brochure block is transported to the head and foot cutting stations (A,B) and then to a front cutting station with a lift of X1 above the actual cutting position and immediately pushed back by this amount (X1). This separates the folding edges through a Koanda effect, deflector or mechanical separator and pushes them into a narrow passage. The front cut on the inner part of the block can be done with the entire surface pressed down. Then the flap is pulled out of the passage. The three-knife trimmer can be adjusted automatically to the product thickness by obtaining the product strength through the swivel belts (3b) and then after cutting has finished the pressing strip (8) with upper belt (4b) lead to the right thickness.
