PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with the storage of a bill-of-material database and a manufacturing performance information database recording individual identification information about components constituting manufactured products.

SOLUTION: When a component assembly apparatus 2 picks up a component to be used in assembly from a component storage part 22, a component information recording apparatus 3 reads individual identification information about the component from an IC tag 7 attached to the component or an IC tag 71 or 231 attached to the component storage part 22 storing the component; and if the component is a base component 7, writes individual identification information about a manufactured product and the individual identification information about the base component 7 to the IC tag 71 attached to the base component 7, or if the component is not the base component 7, writes the individual identification information about the component to the IC tag 71 attached to the base component 7 on which the component is mounted.
