PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler running device for a tea garden plant husbandry machine characterized by among others allowing the user to adjust the tension of crawlers accurately and easily, capable of precluding inclusion of tea trees into the device and clogging with cut leaves, earth and mud, etc., and refraining from imposing a large burden on the crawler running device. SOLUTION: A grease cylinder 33 to move the bearing 25 of the follower wheel 26 in the fore-and-aft direction of the machine body according to the feeding/discharging amount of grease is installed between a lower coupling frame 16 and a bearing 25 of a follower wheel 26, and the grease cylinder 33 is furnished with a spring 42 which energizes the bearing 25 of the follower wheel 26 at normal times and deforms in expansion and contraction in the fore-and-aft direction of the machine body complying with the external force applied to the bearing 25 of the follower wheel 26.
