<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of preventing a fuel cell from coming into a high potential state close to an open circuit potential and of providing high load responsiveness when the fuel cell moves to high load operation. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system includes: the fuel cell 110 for generating power by being supplied with hydrogen and oxygen; and a water electrolyzation device 130 electrically connected to a storage battery; when the fuel cell 110 moves from a high-load operation to a low-load operation, the fuel cell consumes surplus power separately from storage to the storage battery; and hydrogen and oxygen generated from the water electrolyzation device 130 are supplied to the fuel cell 110 when the fuel cell moves to the high-load operation again, whereby high load responsiveness can be provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
