摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having an EL element as a light emitting part, provided with a new structure for turning brightness distribution of the light emitting part into an expected state. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device 21 uses an organic EL element 26 formed by arranging an organic EL layer 24 between a first electrode 23 and a second electrode 25 as the light emitting part 27. Volume resistivity of the first electrode 23 made of transparent material is higher than that of the second electrode 25, and the second electrode 25 is separated into a plurality of electrode parts 25a. Terminal parts 29 corresponding to respective electrode parts 25a are formed by using a material same with that of the first electrode 23. A distance L between a connection position where respective electrode parts 25a are connected to the terminal part 29 and a connection position of external connection wiring 30 is adjusted so that the brightness of light emitting areas 27a corresponding to respective electrode parts 25a becomes same with each other when the organic EL element 26 is lighted by a constant current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
