ELASTIC SURFACE WAVE FILTER

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transversely-coupled SAW filter of an end surface reflecting type which is small-sized and has a favorable filter characteristic for an outband spurious to be effectively controlled. SOLUTION: IDTs 3 and 4 are formed on a piezoelectric substrate 2. In transversely-coupled SAW filter 1 of the end surface reflecting type reflecting of a surface wave an SH type between two opposing edges 2a and 2b, the SAW filter 1 controls the spurious resulted from a distance between two opposing edges by approaching a position unveiled by the spurious caused by the distance between the two opposing edges 2a and 2b to an attenuation pole of frequency characteristics of the first and second IDTs 3 and 4.
