PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor local power measuring device having a constitution of low cost, saving space and easy in exchange and capable of measuring local power in the core. SOLUTION: The reactor local power measuring device for measuring a local power in the core contained in a reactor pressure vessel is provided with an optical fiber partially having scintillator emitting light by irradiation with gamma ray generated by fission in a predetermined position that the scintillator inside the optical fiber is facing the position inside the core. From the light emission output of the scintillator, the power measuring part for measuring the local power in the predetermined position is provided outside the reactor pressure vessel.
