A method of immobilizing a ligand in the form of a solid phase complex and with respect to the solid phase complex, determining the concentration of ligand according to an immunological assay method. The method comprises the steps of: (1) subjecting a ligand, a first labeled specific binding substance for the ligand and a second specific binding substance for the ligand to mutual contacts in a solvent to thereby form a complex of first labeled specific binding substance/ligand/ second labeled specific binding substance, and (2) bringing this complex into contact with carriage solid phase particles carrying a substance capable of specific binding to the first label substance of the first labeled specific binding substance to thereby form a solid phase complex having the complex linked via the first label substance with the carriage solid phase particles. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
