PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fabricating an optical fiber ferrule-incorporating optical isolator which hardly causes fluctuations in the amount of attenuated reflection. SOLUTION: In the method for fabricating optical fiber ferrule-incorporating optical isolator, the optical fiber ferrule-incorporating optical isolator is fabricated by adhering an optical isolator element 24, prepared by sticking a Faraday rotator 21 and a polarizer 22 to each other with the top-end side of an optical fiber ferrule 13, having a ferrule 11 whose top end side is polished into an inclined surface and an optical fiber 12 which is internally disposed on the ferrule. When the optical isolator element is adhered to the top-end side of the optical fiber ferrule by using a thermosetting optical adhesive, an adhesive part on the top-end side of the optical fiber ferrule is heated for a specified time, under the condition of 60°C to 120°C and is cooled to a temperature of 40°C to 60°C; and thereafter, the adhesive is applied, while the adhesive part is kept at a temperature of 40°C to 60°C. Subsequently, the optical isolator element is bonded to the adhesive part of the optical fiber ferrule coated with the adhesive, and thereafter, the adhesive is heated and cured.
