PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a textile yarn for papermaking, having improved abrasion resistance and rigidity, further having high strength and providing a woven fabric for the papermaking, having improved dimensional stability; and to provide the woven fabric for the papermaking. SOLUTION: The textile yarn for the papermaking contains an inorganic filler and a base material resin. The textile yarn contains at least a titanium carbide filler in the titanium carbide filler and an aluminum borate whisker as the inorganic filler, and one of a polyamide-based resin and a polyester-based resin as the base material resin. At least a part of the textile yarn constituting the woven fabric 1 for the papermaking is the textile yarn of the invention, and preferably the textile yarn for the papermaking of the invention is used as at least a part of warp yarns 21 at the lowest layer.
