PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifilament yarn having optical interference function having little dispersion of color among lots and in the lot when carrying out the mass-production and being used. SOLUTION: The multifilament yarn having the optical interference function is constituted of flat optical interference filaments obtained by laminating at least two kinds of polymers having different refractive indexes so as to be parallel to the major axis direction of a flat cross section.
