The invention relates to a vehicle seat comprising pneumatically adjustable side edges, said seat consisting of a frame (1), a moulded part (2), and a plurality of cushions (3), and being covered by a protective layer (4). Pressure can be applied to the cushions (3), enabling a control unit to dynamically modify the side edges around bends, on the basis of the signals of an acceleration sensor. The invention also relates to the static adaptation of the side edges to the build of the different users.
