<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recyclable separator for a fuel cell excelling in conductivity and strength. <P>SOLUTION: This separator for a fuel cell is formed of a thermoplastic polymer composition containing a thermoplastic polymer and a carbon material. The separator for a fuel cell is characterized in that at least a part of the thermoplastic polymer is a thermoplastic polymer having a functional group; and at least a part of the carbon material is a carbon material with an acid treatment applied thereto.
