PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic power supply device for supplying power to a load of low voltage, which is protected by a protection device, especially, a switching power device, a power supply method, a device protecting the load of low voltage from excess current and an auxiliary power device used with the protection device. SOLUTION: The device comprises a means which securely supplies current for short time when the protection device can securely and speedily be operated after a fault, short-circuit in output, for example, is detected, 15 ms, for example.
