MONOPLY PNEUMATIC RUN-FLAT TIRE

A mono-ply pneumatic run-flat tire is provided to enable a bending behavior of component parts of the run-flat tire to improve comfort and an adjustment function, and also improve a run-flat function. A mono-ply pneumatic run-flat tire(10) comprises a single carcass ply(12), at least one belt ply, and at least one insert(20). The at least one belt ply is disposed at an outer side with respect to radial directions of the carcass ply at a crown part of the tire. The at least one insert is disposed at a sidewall part adjacent to the carcass ply to support weight of the tire so that the tire even in an underinflated state can be operated. The carcass ply comprises at least one composite cord. The composite cord comprises at least two first yarns spirally winding at least one second yarn. The first and the second yarns have respectively different elasticity modulus. More particularly, the first yarns have greater modulus than the second yarn.
