An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to maintain interior air comfortably by preventing introduction of foreign substances into the interior of room. An air conditioner includes an air conditioner casing(10), an evaporator(15), a drain section, and a passage opening/closing section. The evaporator is accommodated in the interior of the air conditioner casing. The drain section is connected to the air conditioner casing. A passage for discharging the condensate generated in the evaporator to the outside is formed in the drain section. The passage opening/closing section opens and closes the passage of the drain section. The drain section is formed of a rubber material. The passage opening/closing section includes a pair of bimetals disposed at the circumference of the drain section so as to be opposite to each other. The passage opening/closing section is injection-molded in the drain section.
