<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of improving inspection efficiency by shortening the time for inspecting an image forming position. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises an image forming means for forming a color image and a control means for instructing the image forming means to form an image for adjustment when receiving an instruction to form the image for adjustment.
