An apparatus for testing a formation limit is provided to reduce the time and cost by omitting a separate specimen machining process and a specimen machining mold. An apparatus for testing a formation limit includes an upper jig(10), a lower jig(20), and a punch. The punch applies an impact fixed between the upper jig and the lower jig. A male blade which has a specimen shape and has a predetermined height is integrally attached to the upper surface of the lower jig. A female blade having a recess shape of a predetermined depth is formed on the upper surface of the upper jig so that the male blade of the lower jig can be inserted into the female blade. |
