MANUFACTURE OF SIC/SIC COMPOSITE MATERIAL OF HIGH THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY USING CARBON NANOTUBE OR NANOFIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an SiC/SiC compound material which is enhanced in thermal conductivity, nearly without reducing the volume content of SiC fiber within the cross section perpendicular to the direction of the progress of a thermal flow under its service environment.

SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the SiC/SiC compound material enhanced in its thermal conductivity, a carbon nanotube or a nanofiber is uniformly dispersed in the matrix of the SiC/SiC compound material.
