<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat transfer amount from a component 24 for actuating a light emitting element toward the light emitting element 8. <P>SOLUTION: An optical transmitting module 10 provided with the light emitting element 8 which transduces electrical signals into optical signals and produces optical outputs is connected with a circuit board 2 by a terminal 18 for external connection of the light emitting element 8. In this state, the optical transmitting module 10 and the circuit board 2 are arranged and accomodated in a housing 6 formed of a thermo conductive material. The circuit board 2 is provided with heat radiation paths for the component 24 for actuating the light emitting element 8 composed of through-holes 28 which are formed from the surface of the board on which the component 24 is mounted for actuating the light emitting element 8, are extended toward the back side of the board and have openings in the back side of the circuit board 2 and thermo conductive materials formed inside the through-holes 28. A heat radiation member made of a thermo conductive material for radiating heat of the component 24 for actuating the light emitting component 8 which is transferred through the heat radiation paths toward the housing is interposed between the outlet forming region of the heat radiating paths and the part of the housing 6 opposed to the region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
