PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assisting apparatus for casting which can change the treatment condition of the next treatment cycle in the pretreatment work of casting without stopping the work, and as a result, can improve the efficiency of the casting work. SOLUTION: The assisting apparatus for casting automatically and repeatedly carries out the pretreatment of casting based on required treatment condition data on the surface of an opened fixed die 1a and/or an opened movable die 1b of a casting apparatus 1, and comprises an input device 23 for inputting the treatment condition data again. When the treatment condition data have been input to the input device 23 again, the pretreatment of casting for the next cycle is carried out by replacing the original treatment condition data with the re-input treatment condition data.
