An air feeding type automatic food waste treating apparatus is provided to collect food waste in a sink without putting the food waste into an envelope. An air feeding type automatic food waste treating apparatus includes a sink(10), an introduction opening, a gate valve(16), a basket(18), a suction pipe(22), and a feeding pipe. The sink includes a space communicated with exterior air only through a check valve. The introduction opening is installed in the sink to introduce the food waste. An inlet of the introduction opening is opened and closed by a lid. The gate valve is disposed at a lower end of the introduction opening. The basket is disposed at the circumference of the lower end of the introduction opening at a position communicated with the front end of the gate valve. A plurality of through-holes are formed in the basket. The suction pipe is communicated with the rear end of the gate valve to take the food waste introduced into the introduction opening. The food waste is fed to a food waste collecting area. |
