PSEUDOMONAS SP. JN4 HAVING LUBRICANTS DEGRADING ACTIVITY AND METHOD FOR REMOVING LUBRICANTS FROM THE CONTAMINATED SOIL AND UNDERGROUND WATER USING THE SAME

A novel Pseudomonas sp. JN4 strain is provided to be able to effectively decompose various kinds of hydrocarbon compounds contained in oils in a wide range of temperature from 10 deg.C to 37 deg.C, thereby being used for removing lubricants from contaminated soil and underground water. The Pseudomonas sp. JN4 having lubricant degrading activity is deposited as a deposition number of KCCM-10656P. The lubricant degrading microorganism preparation comprises the Pseudomonas sp. JN4(deposition no. KCCM-10656P). To remove lubricant from contaminated soil and underground water, the Pseudomonas sp. JN4 or the microorganism preparation is used.
