<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the processing speed using memory of a computing unit for back projection effectively. <P>SOLUTION: The computing unit for back projection 91 provides at least one memory 101 to save projection data, at least one computing means (ALU) 103 to compute back projection based on the projection data saved in the memory 101, and a process line configuring means (DSP) 96 to configure a number of steps of the process line comprised of the memory 101 and ALU 103 based on the volume of projection data required for reconfiguring the cross-section image. When the line number configuring means 96 configures multiple steps of process line, one of the process lines and other lines execute back projection computing process simultaneously based on the projection data from different viewing directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
