PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent liquid such as a water drop or ink from moving to the end face of a wiring member in an ink jet recording head which is attached removably to an ink jet recorder and having an electric wiring member of TAB tape provided with a terminal for receiving a signal by touching a joint on the recorder side when the ink jet recording head is attached wherein the conductive wiring member is exposed on the end face of the wiring member located on the side of a region where the terminal is arranged. SOLUTION: A recess is formed in a member for supporting an electric wiring member such that the end face stretches along a part where the end of the electric wiring member is located. Consequently, liquid is prevented from moving onto the end face through a gap between the rear surface of the electric wiring member and the surface of its supporting member.
