<p>The method involves comparing a signal value of a wanted signal with a preset threshold value, where threshold value is dynamically determined based on the amplitude of a noise signal. The amplitude is determined from the signal value or positive signal values or the magnitude of the wanted signal, where the magnitude and/or the positive signal values of the wanted signal are supplied to a low-pass filter to obtain the amplitude of the noise signal in an output of the filter. An independent claim is also included for a device for evaluation of a wanted signal afflicted with a noise signal.</p> |
